I gifted this exact perfume as a secret santa at work and she loved it. I did not get to see her expression, but she told me she did. She let everyone smell it and some of them put it on as they were passing it down.
I have no experience with Cactus Garden but I wanted to try this after seeing recommendations for a "freshie". To my nose, It starts with a very strong lemon and what I thought was mint. The "mint" is actually the mate note that is very green/herbal/tea-like note. Once it dries down that mate/tea subsides and the lemon gets more creamy. I really dig this fragrance and it performs well as an extrait.
This oil is amazing! And I don't particularly care for the DNA. It's not a bad DNA but mature and for older gentlemen imo. But this oil is so smooth, brighter and vibrant. I gave my friend a sample and he agrees with everything I've said. This oil is his favorite version and exceeded his expectations. Compliments his first time wearing it.
I am not familiar with the OG, but after reading the reviews of this one, I HAD to purchase it! It’s an intoxicating, floral and feminine perfume (even though it’s marketed as unisex, to me, it gives way more feminine vibes). It’s nice to finally blind buy a fragrance that will be used with delight—especially in the warmer months! (Hoping to see a Good Girl dupe in the future, too!). Thank you!

This is one of my favorites. I have not had a chance to compare to the OG. But this one is amazing definitely has the Killian DNA.
I don't have experience with Bal D Afrique but I did previously own another "inspired by" which was Paris Corner Emir Vibrant Vetiver Delight. The scent was great but didnt last long on my skin. Auric Noir is a match but lasts alot longer. MOD Fragrances is the place to shop when you want strong performance for low price.
