This perfume smells exactly like Guerlain’s Spiriteuse Double Vanille. Like …. EXACTLY like it. it’s insane! Please don’t ever discontinue this scent, you will have a lifetime customer of me. I've never smelled the original Aventus. But I've smelled probably 10 different inspirations of it and they are all pretty good unless they have that strong lemon cleaner smell to them. Mods version is really good. They first gave me a sample and I then bought a big bottle. I'm not going to tell you if smells identical to Aventus because I don't know. I'm also not going to tell you it's the best version you can buy because fragrances are highly subjective. That would be like me telling you Papa John's has the best pizza. What I will tell you is Mod did a great job and I'm happy I bought it and highly recommend it. This house does a great job. I love love love their imagination ( Analysis) and their perfume oil of Side Effect. That perfume oil smells like a high quality designer fragrance. It made me say wow! You can buy with confidence from this house.
