Really nice fragrance. I’d say it’s about 85-90 percent spot on for the original. I wore the original Aqua di Gigo Profumo for a while and loved it. I recently smelled it on a friend and it brought back how much I enjoyed the fragrance. This is a good, affordable alternative to it! The opening is a bit different than the OG, but as it dries down, it starts taking on that ADG Profumo more and more. Great fragrance!
I ran out of my favorite fragrance adg parfumo and it became discontinued so….. I researched the best dupe for adg parfumo and it led me to a fragrance called coastal aura by mod fragrances….. upon reading all the reviews it was a no brainer to purchase it blindly….. shipping was super quick and packaging was superb….. I received my cologne in the mail and eagerly opened it and sprayed one spray on my wrist and immediately gagged…… I’ve been wearing adg parfumo for about 10 years now and this isn’t even close to a good dupe….. even my wife turned her nose to it… I wouldn’t recommend coastal aura by mid fragrances to anyone looking for a good dupe of adg parfumo….. keep searching….

Please note that inspired fragrances cannot smell exactly the same as the original, as formulations and ingredient sources naturally differ. In the case of the discontinued Profumo, a key factor is the EU ban on the fragrance ingredient Lilial (Butylphenyl Methylpropional). Like many responsible perfume houses, we do not use Lilial and instead rely on safe, modern alternatives. This can result in subtle differences in scent, while still staying close to the original inspiration.
That said, Coastal Aura has been very well received overall and is generally enjoyed when experienced on its own, rather than through a very deep, side-by-side comparison.

Smells great
I have been long trying to get a replacement for ADG Profumo (one of my faves) and finally MOD has brought it back to life with a bang!! Smells so good with great longevity!! And a compliment getter!
I hope MOD different discontinue because I'll be back for more in the future.
The only mishap was I had delivery issues a couple of times. They first sent an incorrect perfume and the next time the package wasn't delivered to the right address. However, they sent another Coastal Aura for the misplaced one! The customer service was very responsive!

This is the closest I’ve smelled to Profumo apart from the original itself.

very good and fresh, not too overpowering.
90 percent accuracy people smelt it and guessed right on what I was wearing I wish it had more incense but that’s just my preference it smells exactly like it in every other way also makes up on sheer longevity it’s insanely long lasting for me.
So I torture tested Coastal Aura by Mod Fragrances, and I'll tell you what! I put this stuff on at 6pm on date night with the wife. 7am THE NEXT DAY I'm STILL smelling strong. I personally don't know what Aqua Di Gio Profumo smells like BUT I DID get the Irish Breeze (Green Irish Tweed) and there is ZERO telling the 2 apart. I know that Coastal Aura smells like Aqua Di Gio and it's AMAZING (that line has a specific smell) and it LASTS. VERY HAPPY and I WILL be buying again! Thanks Mod Fragrances!
